About S.O.S

Welcome to our blog, Shedding Our Silence. Also known as S.O.S. Please read our Vision, Mission, Ethics, Leadership, Trust and Strategic Alliance and Diversity  Statements. It gives a clear understanding of who we are and how we reveal the beauty within.

Our Vision:

We are a group of Christian believers who’s heart it is to reach out to the needs of the lost, broken- hearted , abandoned and abused people. Through unconditional love and encouragement our goal is to help these individuals to reach their full potential and their goals one stepping stone at a time.

Our Mission:
Our mission is to find out what the person needs to succeed in life. Equipping them for the greatest chance of success through teaching, mentoring, utilizing every resource available in our community. Encouraging them to activate their potential for creating significant impact in our society.
S.O.S has Godly, moral standards of conduct that place high value on honesty, integrity, fairness, and respect. Ethics are fundamental to S.O.S and are self-evident in the Associations operation and interactions.
Trust is our number one belief as well as integrity, reliability, commitment, honesty and the value of the services provided. Trust is formed by these traits, communicating with compassion, and developing an understanding for all who come to S.O.S.
S.O.S. anticipates needs, seeks out opportunities for improvement, and works to identify and remove obstacles to success. S.O.S. wants to provide new and evolving services and we want to be a unifying voice and advocate for the community.
Strategic Alliances and Diversities: S.O.S. seeks out and embraces alliances and partnerships that support and promote our vision, mission, and desired outcomes and strategies to meet individual needs.
S.O.S. promotes an organizational culture that encourages reasonable risk taking, creative thinking, and strategic problem solving. Fostering the development of new or enhanced services that meet the individuals needs.
We at S.O.S. seek to encourage diversity (variety) in its organization, programs, and events. Diversity promotes creativity and enables us to better understand and respond to the individual needs of our community.
