Asking for Prayers for Healing.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Recently  I have been hearing of many  people having injuries, illnesses or disorders. A few of them within our own group.

Please pray for Pammy Jo, Geri, Venetia and Sherry. We never know when something is going to happen to us good or bad but we must remain confident that the Lord will do as He has  promised. You are the Great Healer.

Please Father God, I stand on your promise of  Healing.  Remove from me any disbelief or unbelief that I may have that would hinder any healing that you are doing in me, my family and my friends. I pray that you will do wonders in the lives of Pammy Jo, Venetia and Sherry. I ask for blessings to continue in Jesus mighty name. Amen

Please remember that according to to  these Scriptures we have His promises:

Psalm 89:34 – God says “My covenant I shall not break nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips”

Psalm 51:7 -“purge me with hyssop and I shall be clean, wash me and I shall be whiter than snow”

Psalm 56:11 – ” In God I have put my trust, I will not be afraid of what man can do to me.”

Proverbs 18:21 – Death and Life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Trust and obey God’s Word, pray positive and uplifting words.Ask for God and the Holy Spirit for anointing and give Praise and Thanks.

Exodus 15:26 – He said, “If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.”

Psalm 107:20 – He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave.

Exodus 23:25 –  Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you, 26 and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span.

There are many more Scriptures that back up God’s promises. You only need to ask of Him and He will provide.  (Jeremiah 29:13) And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Remember speak Life, goodness and healing affirmations over yourself, family, friends, neighbors, all whom you encounter. Be the Blessing not the curse.

What an awesome Holy Spirit guided poem by Leah Anne Sease, August 1, 2012

Leah wrote this beautiful poem and read it to us at our weekly meeting. She said the Holy Spirit guided her to writing it. I hope you think it’s as awesome as we did. It’s untitled as of this writing but I’m sure you will know what it’s all about.

” I saw a woman today, she smelled not of cologne,

She loves Jesus, yet she feels so alone,

Her clothes were tattered and worn,

a heart searching a heart bruised, broken and torn,

These are  women who once were us carrying Shame,

It is not our job to teach them how to dress for if they turn away we are to blame,

These are precious and dear,

We Christ’s bride sent them away in tears,

For He looks not at the outer appearance but at the heart,

So should we too if we ar His set apart,

Let us not think as the Scribes and Pharisee’s,

Let us see as He see’s,

Remember it is not our call,

To tell sisters how to dress making them feel small,

In time as He has taught us and cleaned up our mess,

In His robe of righteousness He’ll teach us how to dress.”

Thanks to the Holy Spirit and Leah for words of heartfelt understanding.

Any comments please feel free, Leah will be glad for any feedback as will I.

Blessings, Mary

Flags class pt2 and SURPRISE, HAPPY BIRTHDAY PASTOR ESTELL! 7/25/2012

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

The second part of the Flags and Banners class was filled with giddy excitement. Everyone in the room knew about the impending surprise party for Pastor Estell.

Suzi Herman was our guest teacher and she was also in on the surprise. We planned a Crash/Flash party for Pastor Estell’s 60th birthday.

Class starts at 7pm, at 7:29pm while doing a flag exercise the alarms went off on our cell phones as planned. It was annouced “It’s 7:29” and all the ladies in the class started setting up the tables ad chairs and decorating the room, at 7:30pm the door opened and approximately 50-60 people crashed the class. More arrived soon after. It was awesome to see so many people there that came to celebrate Pastor Estells birthday. It was so very nice. It was also so very hot in the room with all those people we had to set up chairs outside in the yard for groups to gather and socialize. There was so much food and beverages. Don, Pastor Estells husband bought this really beautiful sheet cake. Make sure you look for the pictures of it. The surprise was a real surprise as Pastor Estell was tearful and happy at the same time. She is a well known and well loved pastor that has helped many many people.

I want to thank everyone that came and also the SOS ladies, Suzi Herman and my helpers in pulling this surprise party together. Thank you Kim J., Sherry D., and Camely. I also want to thank Pastor Estell for all she has done for me. She is an awesome woman of God and I am privileged to know her and the other Calvary Chapel members.

Blessings, Mary

Learning about the purpose and colors of flags and banners in and out of church, July 18, 2012

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Suzi  Herman was our guest speaker at class. Suzi has a Flags and Banners Ministry and flag and banner making business. We used to have flags ad banners at our church but it was stopped. I really don’t know why. It seemed to me, a fairly new Christian that it just made the Praise and Worship part of the  service that much more awesome. It really made me feel like the Holy Spirit was just washing over us, ever so gently. We are praying that it is brought back into our church.

Suzi taught us that the reasons and purposes of flags were credited to the Holy Spirit. To give a desired message of the heart, Isaiah 12:2. The first banner or flag was noted in Exodus. Banners are slightly different than flags. Flags don’t have that much written on them and banners can be ornate. Flag colors mean different things also.Yyellow for example means: faith, Glory of God, anointing. Sapphire blue means: The Law, The Commandments, authority, prayer, Holy Spirit. So you see that waving a flag or banner is about the color and message conveyed by the Holy Spirit.

There are also different waves with flags that can  demonstrate different parts of the praise and worship music. Such as fluttering. It can represent the Holy Spirit. I find this all quite interesting and look forward to Suzi returning next Wednesday with her smaller hand held flags. For more information on flags and banners check out Suzi Hermans website: http://www.creationsanewflags.com .

It’s good to learn new things!

Blessings, Mary
